Marketing Consulting for the Mid-Market
Most mid-market marketing is busy and unaccountable at the same time: a full calendar, a reporting dashboard nobody acts on, and a sales team that does not trust the leads. Marketing consulting fixes the system rather than the calendar — what you stand for, who you talk to, what happens when they raise a hand, and who owns the number at the end of it.

In short
Marketing consulting is advisory and implementation work that makes marketing produce pipeline instead of activity. Brand Vibe Consulting provides marketing consulting to mid-market companies in India and worldwide with $1M–$60M in revenue, rebuilding positioning, demand generation and the sales handoff as one revenue system — measured on pipeline, not impressions.

Activity is not the same as demand
A mid-market marketing function is usually measured on what it produced — posts, campaigns, events, impressions — because those are the numbers it controls. None of them tell you whether the business will have pipeline next quarter. The first thing we change is the measure: from output to qualified pipeline and revenue influenced, with a reporting line that survives contact with a board meeting.

The leak is usually the handoff, not the top of the funnel
When marketing and sales each hit their own numbers and revenue still misses, the failure is almost always between them. Leads arrive with no context, get scored by nobody, and sit. We rebuild the definition of a qualified lead with the sales team in the room, then wire the routing, scoring and follow-up so a raised hand reaches a human while it is still warm.

Channels are the last decision, not the first
Most engagements arrive as a channel question — should we do LinkedIn, should we do events, should we spend more on search. That question cannot be answered before positioning is settled, because the channel only carries the message. We fix what you say and to whom first; the channel mix then falls out of where those buyers actually are, and it usually costs less than the plan that was already running.

Questions we’re asked.
- What is marketing consulting?
- Marketing consulting is work that diagnoses why marketing is not producing commercial results and then rebuilds it — positioning, messaging, demand generation, the marketing-to-sales handoff and the measurement behind them. It differs from an agency in that it fixes the system and the operating model rather than executing campaigns inside whatever system already exists.
- What does a marketing consultant cost in India?
- Brand Vibe's marketing consulting engagements start at ₹2L / $4,000 on fixed scope with 50/30/20 payment terms, typically running eight to twelve weeks. Fractional marketing leadership starts at ₹1.5L / $3,000 a month on a six-month minimum. Independent consultants in India range widely; agencies usually price on retainer, which buys execution rather than accountability for the number.
- How is a marketing consultant different from a marketing agency?
- An agency executes a channel — it makes the ads, the content or the campaigns, and is measured on delivery. A marketing consultant is accountable for whether marketing produces pipeline at all, which often means changing positioning, the qualification standard or the sales handoff before any channel work is worth doing. Many of our clients keep their agency and get more from it afterwards.
- Do you execute, or only advise?
- We build and hand over. An engagement ends with written positioning and a messaging architecture, a rebuilt lead definition with scoring and routing, a demand plan with owners and a measurement frame your team runs without us. Where an AI acquisition system is part of the answer, it is deployed on your own infrastructure and you keep it.
- How long before marketing consulting shows results?
- Positioning and the qualification fix land inside the first four to six weeks and usually show up first as better-quality conversations rather than more of them. Pipeline movement typically follows in the second quarter, because a mid-market sales cycle has to run its length before the change reaches revenue. Anyone promising a revenue change in thirty days is describing a discount, not marketing.
